Doctors and researchers around the world have continued their restless efforts to find the better asthma medications than inhaler. Recently the asthma researchers has invented a new medicine called lebrikizumab. It is effective to reduce severity of asthma attack.

The biotech drug lebrikizumab, which was developed by Roche Holding's Genentec.

Director  Dr Nicola Hanania said "If this drug gets approved we would have for the first time a personalized approach other than just blanket therapy for everyone with uncontrolled disease,"

Mr Hanania is the  director of  the Asthma Clinical Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston said; "we still see patients who still have symptoms, who still have exacerbations, hospital admissions, and this is the type of patient this study was targeting,"

Lebrikizumab is very effective  medicine for asthma. It has very mere side effect. But right now it is not available in the market. According to Roche's statement it may available in the market after getting approval from USA drug authority end of 2016.

More than 25 million people have asthma in the USA. African-American are in the top position among the list. When all are dependent on inhaler, then invention of new medicine of asthma  which can be injected once in a  month as a certain doze according to the severity of asthma will create historical revolution in asthma medications.
